The Practical Wellbeing Institute (PWI) was founded in 2021 in accordance with our commitment to community wellbeing support, education and research. We aim to empower individuals with practical strategies to support their own wellbeing, according to their unique identities, resources, experiences and needs. PWI’s wellbeing programs are based on neuroscience and wider research, particularly regarding the impact of stress and trauma on development and wellbeing, and supporting post-traumatic growth. Our evidence-based wellbeing programs and services are trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive and delivered by trained professionals.
